Sonnet For An Angel
Heedless of one’s rejection smile so sweet
so bountiful in that her door ajar,
ardent sensibility awesome treat
once aware her technique, the soul of Ba.
Those from an obscure dream one does avail
them in darkness given a ray of hope
angry, life’s tempest yet certain to fail
when, amorous mind in obliging scope.
Opulence, beggar, sheer warmth impaled
silhouettes in shadows spent by dawn’s light,
her conciliation for Durham’s jailed
for them of the night, in peril in fright.
Cultivated wisdom in what she sows
candid goodness upon the seed that grows.
