Songs of Delight and Pain
Mirrors show
the pain
and anguish on your face
The years have shaped your visage
You'll not catch those early days again
Now - if you want to delight in something
Then taste the wind
It will certainly redden
the face
and the wind offers
its own special
reality
Of which you can partake
And if you are open to them
Songs of delight and pain
will teach you
and make you cry with joy
