Something Far More Pleasant Than You

Pitter patter like a song, the rain sings at my window all night long, I feel as if, rain is A message, to let you know it's okay, When you feel you can't go on one more day. Sometimes I feel, the rhythm is the only thing that keeps me sane, Like the purity washes away all the pain. Rain heals A broken heart, that had once been loved, then ripped apart. You see, on your weakest days, the rain is your band-aides and stitches. Healing your soul, and stitching up your broken heart. Having felt like nothing, but now like God is giving you a brand new start. So before you curse at the rain, Just remember, one little thing, There is no harm it can do, For it twas far more pleasant than you.
