Someone
She’s not an inch away from me
But I see her in obscurity
Her eyes are speaking
Yet it’s hard to say
No change at all
I can even hold her
And yet she refuses
I can’t catch her thoughts
I understand with patience
I try to find the words
But what the ink blots isn’t enough
To paint what’s in her heart
She breathes with a smile
And closes her eyes
The time she opens them
She sees you still
The day can be a bore
But quite not for her
She thinks of you everytime
So could you lend her her thoughts for a while?
How could she deal
With something she couldn’t accept?
How could she fight
A feeling that already defeated her?
How could she explain
Something unexplainable as love?
How could she reason
Something that has no answers?
And so I thought…
Love can be annoying
To someone at work
It can be painful
To someone dumped like junk
Love can teach hostility
To someone broken
It can be a glimpse of insanity
To someone with a fragile mind
Yet it is something beautiful
Something sweet and bliss
To someone I know…
- someone who is in love with you –
…and that would be me.
