Some Things Never Change
Leaves you sway as your trees bend with each
breath of wind that blows.
Willows, you weep no matter how jubilant the
season you're in.
Sunrise will you forever render passage to a new
days dawning-while
Your Sunset, like clock work pays almage to
an old days set.
Some things never change
Foot steps of present soon become printed paths
of where you have been.
Winter it is you who is beckoned by a weary
ole' man Fall
While you, Spring cause the lilies to stretch from
their hidden places.
And prepare the lakes to smoothe the stones
againt their constant flow
Some things never change...
