Soft Rain
As a soft rain kisses the earth with a pleasant kiss
And a gentle breeze coaxes the wind chimes to play their best
All God's earth rejoices as water its dry throat refreshes
Sing, oh earth, a new song of praise
Let each bird sing hallejuah
Sparrows, crows, Mockingbirds bounce from limb to branch and sip
A raindrop
Refresh your dry throat and lip
Cedars and Oaks, Pines and Poplar soak and bathe with raindrops drizzling moisture
Release a song, oh trees, upon the wind let the rustle of dampened leaves float
'Pon the wind
Birds enjoy the chorus of the trees and tingling of windchimes in the breeze...
