Smiling Heart
(A duet with Jay Nonny Kariuki)
Charles…
I saw her smile, and felt the beam,
Catching the smile, in the stillness of the room,
She kept a smile, in the face of doom
And brought a smile to wipe the bloom!
Jacqueline…
He felt my heart, it skipped a beat,
How it would hurt, if we would meet,
Coz when he’d glance, my heart would dance,
In epic stance, I would just cause,
A stare at me, and kiss goodbye!
Charles…
She brought a smile, in the darkness of his life,
And made a mile, which made him fly
Away to the Nile, to make a plea
To the goddess of love, that kept a smile.
Jacqueline…
With the passing of time, I feel so fine,
We don’t waste a dime, but we wine and dine
I want some time, with a man so fine
In the blink of time, he may be mine…
