Slumber Time Again
On the other side of the world, the sun shines brightly.
Now the stars and moon can be seen ever so slightly.
The night prevails over the sky above your head.
Now is the time to take that short walk to bed.
Say your evening prayers and end them with an “amen”.
You’ve got that soporific feeling again.
It is the time for slumbering away
until we see the light of the next day.
