What a difficult topic to capture. It seemed almost dispassionate at first, but that comes up with the tenderness in the words you've chosen. - Chuck

A Tanka with depth and feeling. I love the Tanka, and this is a very good one. I'm way behind getting to the soup. Seems like things just get stacked up once in a while. Love, daver

What a sad write here Carolyn! I hate to see poems of death. It frightens me Carolyn! But it is part of life and we must all deal with that! We all must die sometime! Oh, and a little bird told me that you have many more years to live my friend, it must be true, a little bird told me! I just loved your poem immensely! I really enjoyed your write that I have read this evening! Great Work!!
