Signs of Spring
Green replaces winter grey,
As Spring dances into town,
The earth awakens from its sleep,
And smiles replace sad frowns.
Cherry blossoms scent the air,
With fragrance so divine.
New life is popping up all around,
A very welcome sign.
Naked trees put on green leaves,
A gentle breeze begins to blow.
Nests are built and eggs are laid,
Preparing for nature's show.
Spring is a glorious, magical time,
When flora and fauna come alive.
Winter's chill is blown away,
When the warmth of Spring arrives.
