Shopping With Grandma

One arm holds A pink plastic purse The hand attached To the that arm Is grasping onto Grandma's soft hand That hand is swinging Back and forth happily The fingers on the other hand Are following along behind Touching the soft fabric Of the pretty clothes Suddenly both hands stop moving The fingers tracing the fabric Grab hold of a Beautiful blue shirt The face attached to The little fingers Turns to Grandma And gives a sweet smile Grandma giggles And grabs the shirt Grandma starts moving Towards the check out counter The shirt is placed on the counter Grandma places a big beige bag On the counter beside it She reaches her hand inside the bag She pushes aside A lipstick container Old tissues Crumpled receipts A small blush container Chocolate candy wrapers Pictures of all shapes and sizes Her cell-phone A plastic look-a-like cell-phone Finally she finds What she was looking for A wallat full of 10's and 20's She places a 20 on the counter She buys the shirt Picks up the girl And they skip off to the car After a long day of shopping
