She Spoke a Bad Word
She spoke a bad word
You could feel a deep sea
This was a young woman who’d been
Through a lot with her family and ex-husband
And now her father dying
Yet she recovered quickly to be
With her children she was not
Going to let her ex win
She loved her children so much
She beginning to write down
Each ward
Then she spoke we all
Know she was not
We could see it in her
Big brown eyes, feel
The pain as you touch
Her hand, yet she was
Out in 7 days
Her lawyer made sure of that
Give her time and she
Will talk for hours about
Her pain and smile because
Someone listened and began
To feel her voice speak
