Shadows
I fear as you read me,
One moment an iridescent, swirling,
swaying shadow...
Dancing lightly upon a symphony.
The next, bitter herbs upon the
tongue of Man,
Haunted by death...
Yearning for
Life.
All in the turn of an hour,
Trickling softly
Between a tear and
hope - bursting my soul
Till it cannot contain
Within the prison of
Me.
I see a rainbow over
A tomb. See God in both.
Reject all
Absorb all
With question.
And hope you would
understand...
What I cannot.
