Seeing Through the Rain

When I stare off into the horizon it's always clear... The blur of life in front of me is sometimes drizzled in fear... No matter how hard I squint the clouds still dance in my view... Through my travels in life I've searched for me in storms that touched me too... Sunrises and sunsets that never seemed to come in time... Left me standing all alone in the back of the line... Although now a man who finds words that are barely dipped in pain... I am now a poet who see's passed the showers and the rain... MJF
