Seeds
Our love is a seed planted in the firmest
Soil friendship can buy
I tried to look before I fell, but I
Found myself rooted
There
To the spot where we were standing, and
Everything looked new
And that's just what It felt like when I said
Yes to you
You've been there since the beginning, even
Though I couldn't see
I was blinded by the so-called "prince"
Who had such a hold on me
His slight of heart drowned me in rain
I was soaked the whole way
Through
You came along and took my hand, and fixed the
Mess he left behind
We had been the best of friends
You were my valentine
Now you're mine, just like you should be
And it's never felt so right
So today in the hallway, I gave you a kiss
You kissed me on the forehead
I kissed you on the
Cheek
I asked to kiss you on the lips, and
Loved it when you
Let me
With you, there's no fire, just a steady
Stream of sun
You fill me up with so much love, so I can
Grow into my own
And we can grow into our own
I can see we have potential to be as big
As cedar trees
Right now we're just beginning, planted
In the ground like seeds
When we got together, the whole world
Sang
Bit by bit, I'm falling
I can't help falling in your love
And I can feel you catching
Me
So no matter where we land, I'm in it for
The long haul
Shooting from the ground like seeds
