Seasons

Each time a new season arrives I see again with eyes afresh which one do I love best? spring? summer? autumn? winter? There's only one answer I love them all anew so fresh is each at start then slowly they fade away The wonders of spring the promise of new life each time my heart gladdens opens wide to embrace But then summer follows such beauty everywhere masses of colourful flowers matched by beauteous butterflies Fast on heels comes autumn the Reds, Browns and Golds harvests of all good things the beauty of the bare trees Last but not least winter's icy fingers hoar frost's on the trees pure unblemished snow How can one choose so lets toast each one for the beauty they bring no contest no choice to make ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
