'salvage'

The spark somehow has disappeared Everything has lost its shine Like a lighthouse without a light To show direction Does it mean that it will not come back? Do we float around on clouds that Appear so fluffy That we pretend everything is fine? Drifting along on a boat that’s sinking With no NSRI in sight – Grab your life jacket see if you can swim to shore Nothing is as unreachable as the one that Doesn’t make an effort to be rescued.

A lot of us struggle through life without making efforts to make changes. Without change, a tattered life cannot be restored. Your boat will never sink, dear, but I do sense some despair. Hope all is well, Wilma. This poem didn't seem "weird" to me at all. It has structure, imagery, meaning and an eloquent presentation. Love, carolyn
