Running
A moonless night, a lifeless forest,
She needs to stop, she needs to rest.
All night she's been running,
For him, she'll never stop hunting.
Someone, something, is keeping them apart,
Every moment without him, tortures her heart.
She calls to no avail, no one will come,
The only way out is through everything she's running from.
She won't turn around, she won't cry that first tear,
She won't slow down, she's so full of fear.
She just keeps running in the darkness,
Her love no one can harness.
Any distractions, there are none,
She just keeps going, waiting for the sun.
