Rose Bush
Roses of springtime bring life to this field,
filled with new love in this garden revealed.
White, red, yellow all the colors to view,
life, as a rose, age and fade in life's dew.
Treasure the cup forming petals so fair,
on sharp prickly stems with texture and flair.
Each budding blossom is pouting and trim
the face of an angel, proper and prim.
Roses of summer, fill fields with neww life,
first trimmed, then groomed by the edge of a knife.
Life, like a rose must be nurtured and fed
pruned in the garden, the edge of the bed.
