Reminiscence
It’s been a while
Yet it remains so dear
It’s been some time
Yet its memory lingers so near
I was there
I am there
I will always be
Its beauty never ceases
Through the best or worst times it breaches
Finding its way through the past
To the present
To the future
It’s haunting? No, on the contrary, it’s what keeps me going
knowing
I have been there
I am there
I will be there…
The beauty of a memory…
