Reflections of You
When Whip-Poor-Wills call evening is nigh
My reflections turn to good memories.
And you still choose me_ the apple of your eye
To be your love even though soon we will die
Come let abiding love fill our treasuries.
When Whip-Poor-Wills call evening is nigh
Many men run saying their last good-bye
Leaving the love of their youth with emery.
And you still choose me _ the apple of your eye
To be your love, even when life goes awry.
This last of life we're on our journey.
When Whip-Poor-Wills call evening is nigh
I want to rush to you my ally
Where once again recharging energy.
And you still choose me_ the apple of your eye
Even though old, gray, aging_apron strings untie
Like years ago when youthful~twenty
When Whip-Poor-Wills call evening is nigh
And you still choose me_ the apple of your eye
