Reality Check

What should I say to describe this empty feeling, like I'm missing something I could call Home. How would I come to deny a thought revealing, given time and place, I'd invent my own. A time spent in a state of agonizing pain, A place of worship I would not forgive. Only the mind undoes the past through vision gained, in boundless timeless Love it all but lives.

I enjoyed reading this Quatrian. I know that empty feeling from missing home and also from missing someone. I have also had insights from past experience to help me become a better person. Sara

this is exceptional, for love is the grace of god that helps us accept the past to move forward, and yes, we all carry that empty place, that longing for home....until you are there. I am awed by your talent.

Your poem here is very interesting. The first verse, the empty feeling, is the mind's lack of understanding, the higher being, of Love that you are. Your heavenly home is the higher state, your sacred heart in which love your true self resides. The empty feeling is caused, by your natural mind, lost from the love that you really are. Elaborate on your understanding of the elder, serpent and the mind. Sincerely Love, from jm

This means a great deal to me, Yoni. The feelings you describe are those I am experiencing as I look back and wonder where I went wrong. Sometimes the mind can be our enemy; perhaps we have a tendency to over analyze, but when we are feeling empty, that seems like the only thing to do. The "agonizing pain" does lift though, and it is this belief that I cling to when I feel like all is lost. I like your "vision" in this work! Love you, Carolyn
