Real Treasure

Material riches and pots of gold A heart of ice forever cold The truth come alive, wisdom so old Let it now unfold, let it be told As man struggle for worldly things He gets tied to material strings Forgets the happiness that real joy brings Until a sad refrain is what his heart sings He fails to see the real treasure True friendship that is beyond measure One that is constant steady and sure A bond that gives the soul pleasure Inside him every man is craving Wanting, needing all the caring Desiring what true friendship is offering Knowing inside the fulfillment it could bring Something I have found in you A friend, a sister so real and true People like you are so rare and few The real treasure in this world is you
