This haiku says a lot. New beginnings are always available if one just takes the chance. Wonderful to read and inspiring.

Hi Laura: regarding your blog and my comment.. I checked my member contest entry page and I don't think I entered your contest because Sonnets escape me when writing .. just wanted to check and see for myself if I did or did not enter.. and I did not.. your choice of winning poets is wonderful.. I am reading them now to acquaint myself with the Sonnet form.. thankxxx and hope u will sponsor another contest real soon... luv.. Linda-Marie..

Laura, This haiku brought so many images to mind. It was a delightful surprised, too. First, I thought of nature as the old dried flowers burst forth with new life. (And hurricanes make many things a new beginning.) Then, I thought about work and changes that often go on in work places...then, I thought of a model changing from old styles into colorful new styels...posing. Lots went on in my head this morning! Love to you, Dane Ann

Now that's what I call a haiku! Excellent 5-7-5 syllable count. Thanks for sharing. Peace and love, Milt

Hi Laura: just to let u know I am leaving the Soup Site and have removed my entry from your current contest...due to an overwhelming controversy over my three way collaboration with Jared Pickett and Sam Brooks... soup management received reports about my undignified poetry ... so I have decided it is in my best interests to go with another forum where there is universal appeal for my poetry.. thankxxx for being a good friend to me... luv.. Linda-Marie..
