Reaching
You humble me, undoubtedly,
Unraveling my sweater at the seam,
Denying my flesh its covering,
Exposing my shameful nakedness,
Every unexpressed weakness.
You tear even deeper,
Lacerating my skin,
Reaching for my soul to let You in.
