Rainbow
As storms rage outside your front door... I'll be your rainbow that guards your door.
When sickness tries to over takes your body and when your enemies leave you beaten and
barely able to stand on your own...I'll be your rainbow that rejuvenates your soul.
When they come to try and persecute you...I'll be your rainbow that makes them acquit you
on your day in court.
When others come to bare false witness against you...I'll be your rainbow that leads to the
truth.
When your family turns against you...I'll be your rainbow that reunites you as one.
As you go through your ups and down… I will flip that frown into a smile. When your
sunshine turns into ice upon your face, I will be your inner sun beam that warms your skin
from within. As you go through your day I shall be with you like a shadow on the ground that
never leaves your side, no not even when dark clouds block me from your sight... I will still
be there beside your feet, even though you can’t see me with your eyes. I'm your rainbow
and I will always be there for you…no matter what type of troubles life may bring you.
Know that as long as you look for me after the storms have passed you by…you can always
count on me, your personal rainbow in the sky.
