R I P

Seen a lot of good
when everything went so right
good times in my life.

Had some sadness too
things go wrong I don’t know why
lots of things go wrong.

I’m a lonely man
tried to sort it out but how
I just don’t know why

Taken lots of chances
lots of changes in my life
seen the other side.

Just got to do this
got to do something with life
why put up a fight.

I’m on the wrong side
track well worn with forlorn souls
tried to sort it out.

Been lots of sadness
trouble in town other night
cut down in a fight.

I guess this my life
just rushing by in seconds
the knife oh the pain.

Seen a lot of good
when everything went so right
but she went away!

oh yes, I remember that form. One time someone did a contest of string haiku. This one is very interesting, Harry. I am pretty sure you are not the actual "I" of this poem. but good way to get into the shoes of the character!
