Purity Is a Delicate Lily of Whiteness
Purity is a delicate lily of whiteness
that a sinless soul so fervently cherishes,
but finding a similar one in the whole Earth:
it's like seeking a gemstone in a forest!
Look everywhere...where's that spotless heart
in which love keeps it's whiteness intact?
And unless, it is tempted and loses favor with God Himself:
it can only expect wrath on His part as it wallows in death!
Purity is a delicate lily of whiteness,
woe to it, if it'll be accosted by a tempest
that will strip all its petals and scatter them on a green lawn:
it would have embellished any large room of an elegant home!
I, too resembled that delicate lily of whiteness,
glorifying the Father with a joy that emitted luminous sparks,
but somehow I strayed from my path and put my trust in stars:
while lusting after flesh and giving up on holiness!
