Prayer For the Faithless
We'll always have our sacred death
In turn you'll blink the time away
We'll always have our sacred death
This time you'll find it's ticked away
A benediction for a carbon emission waste
This time round you ran with such haste
To find yourself in the middle of nowhere
Where you ask, think and then go there
The illusory grasp you have on God fleeting
Leaving, I hear you calling out and body
Bloody heart, torn apart, yet still beating
Bleeding from a small hole, simple to feel
Fill you up to the brim of your cup
Yet you cannot taste it, you can only drink
I feel for you as the rocks tied corrupt
I feel for you as you begin to sink
Climb the ladder back from there
This I promise, this I swear
I'll pray for you at night
May you find solace from your fright
He opens doors, he opens hearts
You just have to have one
I'll keep praying as a start
You keep beating, breathing, no one.
