Portals Through the portals of time Explorers researched untold signs Traveling to the desolate regions Finding only scores of unclean legions Where is the fountain of youth? Or the great mammoth saber tooth Where is the kingdom with golden streets? Or the place where living waters meets Who can interpret the language of the birds? Where is this kingdom that creates with words? They have exhausted every path they’ve trod Trying to never encounter the powerful rod The kingdom they have searched for is but a breath Tis a quite whisper that transcends even death Hidden in the cleft of your soul you will find Resides the Kingdom of God and fruit of his vine Authors Comment Every step you take illuminates the way Toward the kingdom of Heavens Divine light Others can see the beauty created in you When we learn to walk as one of His Beautiful Days Carole Cookie Arnold
