Pick Aboo

Pick a boo. You see me? I see you. Life like a fortress, what holds you up, holds you down. That's not a smile... I pick a boo a frown. You walk around with it on your face, just like that, you mad... That same smile gone without a trace. Why hide behind a mask, that laugh, talk, that act? You fake, you take, I pick a boo a snake. One who lurks behind the scenes, scooping the between. Pick a boo I see you. Do you see yourself? Do you look in the mirror? Is your life so blurred from confusion, nothing seems clearer. You wake up to you. You go to bed with you. At the end of the day, is it you? Stop jumping for demands! She, he, they are just a man. Do they change who you are? Do they change your appearance? Have they took your place, ran your race? Maybe if you tied your shoelace, you wouldn't trip on that curve, like home boy that slept with you, then gave you the bird. Have they ruffed you up? Grow some more skin.... Get tough! Cause if you don't then you won't see the person that you thought you would be.
