Permanent Home
Frustrated
Want all of this to be over
To be dealt with
Show up and face the truth
Come to realize
You screwed up bad
Consequences follow
Putting you behind bars
Closing my eyes
Flashbacks
Of all the nightmares, terrors
That you put us through
Haunts me everyday
Should have tossed you the first time
I gave to many chances
Also gave up long ago
Now that baby boy
That you called yours....ours
Doesn't have a dad
He never really did
How do you live everyday
With your choices and actions
Does it not bother you at all?
Leaves us with haunting memories for life
I ain't a fool anymore
I'm done with people like you
You have many ongoing problems
What the hell goes through that head of yours
How could you hurt children
Two innocent little boys
Jail... behind bars
Should be your permanent home
You keep drinking, lying
Hurting many people in the process
Who has faith in you?!
Your a complete failure
You don't try to change or benefit yourself
When you make a mistake
You are always in denial
When are you going to grow up...
And take full responsibility for all your wrongs
you hate how everything turned out
Try to blame everyone else
We all did what we had to do
Which was the right choice
Nobody did wrong but you!!
Now... because of you
Children are hurt
Families torn apart
Scarred for life
