(An idea from the contest: "One Of Your Greatest Days")

I've never had a perfect day
but I've always known it's on the horizon
There's forever a part of me
blind that there's hope in the sun rising
I'll never stare too closely
as I'll not see what each day is devising 
I've got to just wait for it
what I've not expected is most surprising
A tell tale sign I'm obvious
that I'm not seeing the day is disguising
If it's up to fate to decide
my perfect day includes it's own uprising

I don't think I have ever had a perfect day either. Has anyone? I wonder what that would look like. Would I realize that I had had a perfect day or close to perfect immediately after the fact? Liked reading about your perspective. Thanks for your !!! about my poem. - Gail

If you knew exactly what would happen where would be the joy or thrill in your life? One should find the beauty in imperfection... because each day is another possibly of it all completely changing. Profound write Gigno!
