Past the Deserts and Greenery

Past the deserts and greenery Is a land better than any It is that land that I seek Where my prospects aren't so bleak It is that land where I want to go Where my future won't take such a blow Where I am free of all the rules Where I am not considered one of the fools Where nobody can tell me what I can and cannot do Where conflicts, controversies and scandals don't ensue Where few are enemies and many are friends Where the road of life is straight with very few bends The land where I can be me Without a care or worry I know that land is somewhere, Past the deserts and greenery.
