Out of the Blue
Suddenly, silently,
in the depths of an azure ocean
they appear from out of the blue,
Hearts beat faster
as we are surrounded and fear makes
adrenalin course through our veins
As one, we watch them
glide gracefully around us, and
one can’t help but feel the
Reverence and wonder of
being among these menacing,
magnificent creatures, these
Killers of the seas; glorious
natural predators, often vilified for their nature,
and who to many, are misunderstood
Suddenly, silently, just as they came,
they disappear back into the blue
leaving nought, but a sense of loss.
