Darkened clouds overshadowed me Insults dropped like rain, My Thick layer emerged There are times when people are at their worst and they do all they can to make you just as miserable as them ,don't let them...Just smile and put on your Thick Layer.

Interesting perspective--good message. We have to learn to get a bit of a thick skin to survive in a sometimes cruel world. And yes, a smile offers opportunity to bring out the good in others. Nice job! Karen
