Of Promises and ashes

A promotion of anxiety
entwines with current society,
engendering moral surrendering,
we live a life now so compromised,
with more to fear therein, than mortal demise.

A powerful statement, my friend... so much to mull over. Morality seems to be the victim here. Would that our 'leaders' behaved in an ethical manner. BRAVO Joe!! Best wishes, Keith

You said it, Joe. Seems like the powers that be are dead set on scaring hell out of Americans. The media is probably the worst offender. Love, daver

A global statement, Joe, though here you've given a sense of priority. More to fear without, than death itself. Best wishes, Love, Mikki

Very true! These are testing times surely, but with faith you can always see that flickering light at the end of the tunnel only if you have the will to survive. Very well-penned piece I must add. Thank you for you kind comments Joe. Blessings, Taha
