Of Dark They Speak

The dark nights... promises Elusive lights, ghostly shadows, stolen times Perhaps even it shelters The broken dreams, the lonesome souls, the never finds It was at once unfamiliar Never recognize to accept Sorrows with stolen tears If I remember, did I wept? And the dark, they dream Dreaming for one day there be light Yet a place to never have been Of days whence a lesser night There, they forgave with anger Desiring lesser for a fading reminder Here, they contain amongst closer For days when nights don’t remember Shall the dark... a promise When theft isn’t of time Hopes like a dying wish Is a lonesome soul to find
