Would have been our 56th anniversary For my dear first wife Linda and I Sadly passing away fourteen years ago Still in my thoughts, I still cry Every year when October rolls around Reminded of what we both had shared Five great children and a lifetime of love The joys, the heartaches, the care I'll never forget you, my very first love Till my final last day on earth Thank you my sweetest darling Linda For a lifetime of joy and mirth © Jack Ellison 2013

Wow! Our PS was out all day yesterday... Everyone was out of sorts... THANK Goodness you're back! Dragon is sniffling in the corner for your loss... But not me! Sniffle! Snorkle! Hic UP!... Well OK! I was too... a little... or a lot... Sniffle! Ok, a LOT!... You sure know how to touch a person. Sorry for your loss... But don't forget to give Cathie a HUG, too... Sniffle... I gotta go... find something to snorkle into... Beautiful dedication to Linda... Hey Hubby! Come over here...I need a Hug!

That is so very sweet Jack, I'm sorry for your loss of your first wife, I can tell you really loved her and lived happily with her during those years you were together! Even though it has been 14 years I know that it is still tough to be apart from her! I hope that today isn't filled with the sorrow of being apart from her but yet filled with the joy of the days you did have with her, the memories you shared together, remember with joy my friend! This is a tremendous poem, Great Work!!
