Not a Pet Person

I'm not a pet person. I never was and never will be, despite how much I so enjoy their loving company. I'm more of an animal rescuer more precisely and some of they that I rescue end up living with me, only to one day die leaving me to forever grieve. My life falls apart and I crash into a deeply depressed style, because for me it's the equivalent of losing my child. I can't suffer this sort of loss continually, and that's why a true pet person I can never be.
