Northern Wind
My two friends and I were among the first ones out the door
as we headed for the church's parking lot. I stopped and noticed
one of the church's lights and couldn't help but come to focus on
a very tall tree.
The leaves had changed to yellow, maybe a lighter shade of brown.
This tree had already dropped several leaves upon the ground.
There was a cool breeze feeling very nice upon my skin.
The moon was a crescent jewel in this night's sky.
The church's light which illuminated this tall tree, helped to
give a strange seemingly heavenly glow to it.
I told them I knew that God was there and He often loved
to let His presence be known to me that way. He loved to show
me His dancing as He moved, swirling the leaves.
Then quite suddenly a gust of wind blew in a stronger and
faster motion, the leaves swirled all around us, there had been a
few more people that had gathered there by then.
My spirit couldn't help but dance with joy as my God was
delighted as I appreciated His playful side. An elder lady of
the church couldn't help but laugh as I jumped and wiggled
with happiness and excitement. I knew that the Lord was near
as He was walking slowly past us. He did this while we all were
surrounded by a Northern wind.
