No Rain Today

dark grey clouds quickly scurry north revealing white bank of clouds suspended over the mountains of the mainland here on the island the view is always mountains, sky and sea faster they move now leaving a brightness behind that we have missed no rain today those clouds have blown away

That would be good news for anyone living within a hundred mile radius of my location. We received much more rain than we needed courtesy of Sandy. Good free verse write. I responded to your email. Thank you for your concern.

Thinking of you! Heard about the earthquake. Are you okay? Shaken up? As Deb would say, fretting! Hugs! Cyndi

:) Irony. I am reading this as its raining outside and the lightening/thunder just ended (I hope) Thanks for your many kindnesses... I do tend to walk out in front of buses, don't I? Those bears. I keep Poking them, too. Your poem is so peaceful... I read it several times, like a meditation. Lovely. Hugs, Cyndi
