Night's Sentry

Oh blackest night, how elegantly you do decorate your canopy. Twinkling stars sparkle gloriously in the Heavens. Brightest yellow moon shining it's beautiful face, keeping watch as sentry to Earth's mysterious gates.

Very nice once again, Anna-Marie. I like the idea of the moon keeping watch. It alludes to the ebb and flow of the oceans whose rhythm keeps earth from stagnation...and death. (Without the motion of ocean waves, earth would not be cleansed and refreshed.) I really like this poem. Thank you. Dane

That mysterious gate (even one) is the quest of my heart ... good to know there is a sentinel there ... feel that truth. One love
