NIGHT STARTS

                                           NIGHT STARTS

                                            Night starts
                                       as the clock strikes
                                  nine for all dreamy hearts,
                           and he dressed in black announces
                        darkness with a trumpet nobody played
                                 for lovers awaiting surprises;
                               misty sky, hiding the pretty stars,
                                   make each cloud disappear
                                        and let dreamers
                                              still sigh!

    This is gorgeous, but I want to tell you something you can try to change as quickly as possible. Your rictameter has to both begin and end with the same two syllable line. I had to quickly redo mine when I put it up last night because I saw that rule at the last moment.
