Never the Same

A Rainbow dark and grey...
                                         Left weathered and frayed...
                                         Not a spot of sunshine today...
                                       Bright colors that lost their way...
                                          With a brush in hand I paint...
                             From a soul that's more a sinner than a saint...
                                    A Rainbow brought back to life again...
                                          But will it ever be the same?...

Michael, i'm gonna see the pretty side of your thought. sometimes sunshine runs out for good reasons. We all know rainbows are proof of something great to come. A change of colors can be a good path. You got to admit change is in your control. Does it really matter if things are not the same. You hold the key & paint brush 2 the new rainbow. now take control of the colors, and paint away. Only you can paint the way the same. maybe this new rainbow is for the better. Once the grey is gone~PD

I believe that in time the rainbow can make it back to where it was at one time! We all have that chance! It might just take some time and some really good paint too! This is a grandiose write my friend! I love how you wrote this, it is very brilliant and the colors can come back! Great Work!!

It doesn't have to be the same, somehow the similarities will filter through and sometimes when things change we get better at handling them.. In my opinion a chance to grow? I love this introspective write MJF, there is so many ways to look at it :) love it mr. non flirt :) love & hugs CTH
