How swiftly the seasons change Years like rivers flow unencumbered Towards eternity’s vast and opened arms And engulfed are these compelling streams Forever to recline in the annals of time Autumn’s leaves of burnt orange and red Now lay beneath purest first snow And merge with the color of earth As silence hovers amidst brisk air Nature, worn and weary, slumbers ~*~

A great poetic way to describe the season of autumn as it moves closer to December and the coming of winter.
