Nature of the Storm

The sky’s cloudy and dark, seemingly dismal I’m in a field of high weeds and a lone tree There is a windmill nearby moving forceful The wind is whipping on by, blowing fiercely Fearfully, lightning flashes over my head The thunder approaches just wanting me dead I’m surely afraid of its awesome power It’s by the nature of the storm I cower
