Nature of the Storm
The sky’s cloudy and dark, seemingly dismal
I’m in a field of high weeds and a lone tree
There is a windmill nearby moving forceful
The wind is whipping on by, blowing fiercely
Fearfully, lightning flashes over my head
The thunder approaches just wanting me dead
I’m surely afraid of its awesome power
It’s by the nature of the storm I cower
