My Words
I have seen al the fires burning
And I am satisified
With my words
Calling men to worship again.
You cannot worship without fire
It was never in your nature
Until you forget
What my poem reminded you of.
They saw my words
And said it was the spring,
But Arabs took the street
And found no flowers for peace
For deceit was everywhere.
The sea cannot quench my words
There is so much now to cleanse
I love a poem
When it sterilizes us at funerals.
It is time to say farewell
I loved them too
Nobody will sing like them again
We lost them both so young
So you understand
Why my poems are old
With eyes and natural strength like Moses
They made the promised land
Naked to the eyes.
