My Stand With Father
Many times I sit pondering,
Yearning to bear father's blessings,
Sighting his love's extension,
Time draws me closer to his bosom,
Attempting,I seek his heart's affection,
Neglecting the call of old friends,
Day turns into night as we share moments of gold,
Withstanding my stubborn heart,he forces a smile,
Inching away the pains of a caring man,
Touching,he breaks off my tough spot,
Hacking down the roots of pride,
For his love I stand accused,
Acquiring the verdict of family's jury,
Taking into account the truth of his simplicity,
Having made myself a figure of himself,
Each day I seek to be like him,
Rendering my thoughts his purest possession,
