I worte this after my son was born in 1984, it described him so well when he started to walk.
You are the storm in my heart, the calm after the rain. You are the sweetness of a rose depicted so plain. You are the strong brave lion quick in flight, but gentle as a lamb when not in fight. You are the “Thinker”, so deep to ponder; ample space for dreams to wonder. You are a locomotive running down the hall, knowing for sure I’ll catch your fall. You are a breeze without a care, blowing with the wind gets you there. No care in the world and nothing to miss, when you stumble and fall, I heal it with a kiss. Copyright © 1985 By Caryl S. Muzzey

What a tribute to a worthy son that has made you proud of him. If a son is as glamorous as an awe inspiring mansion credit goes to its Architect an Builder. You must be an excellent mother to lend him all the virtues he possesses. Thanks also for your heart warming comments on my poem End of the Tunnel. I am so glad you liked the Quatrain. -Mohammad
